Boris Lumbana, som går under artistnamnet Boris René, debuterar i Melodifestivalen med låten ”Put Your Love on Me”.

– Det är otroligt kul, jag vet inte ens om man kan sätta ord på det. Fantastiskt inspirerande, så jag är hur glad som helst, säger Boris René om debuten.

Boris föddes i Kongo-Kinshasa men flyttade till Sverige redan som tvååring. Utanför musiken är han fotbollsspelare i Degerfors som huserar i Superettan. Han släppte 2013 singeln ”Alive” och har publicerat coverlåtar på sociala medier.
